Creative Metal Works, Inc. is owned by Bill Costain. Bill has been has been designing, welding and fabricating metal products for more than 30 years, and has been in business in Colorado Springs since 1989.
Creative Metal Works is a member of the Better Business Bureau of Colorado Springs with an A+ rating.
About the Owner
Bill has a unique combination of formal education and a wide array of hands-on experience.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. This allows Creative Metal Works to design products that are superior because they are safer, stronger, more durable and more efficient than they would otherwise be if just built to industry standards and/or code requirements. We are often able to design solutions to problems that would not be possible without the technical understanding in areas such as material science and structural engineering.
Bill is a licensed General Contractor in El Paso County, and has hands-on experience in most construction trades. Not only does this allow us to pull any permits that may be necessary, but it also helps us understand the "big picture" for our customers. We not only realize how important it is to collaborate with other trades and subcontractors for a smooth and well thought out process, but we also emphasize a tight schedule and completing jobs on time and as promised so the Builder or General Contractor stays on track and can reliably schedule inspections and other work without having to worry about our end of the project holding things up.
